A Multi‑Phase Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is an advanced electronic motor drive system designed to control the speed, torque, and direction of multi‑phase AC motors, motors with more than the conventional three phases (e.g., 6‑phase, 12‑phase, or higher) commonly used in applications requiring extremely smooth torque, low vibration, low harmonic distortion, and enhanced reliability. Multi‑phase VFDs convert fixed‑frequency AC power into variable‑frequency, variable‑voltage multi‑phase output, enabling precise motor performance and exceptional dynamic control.
