Tube‑Enclosed Totally‑Cooled (TETC) Motors are industrial electric motors designed for enhanced thermal management in demanding applications. Unlike standard air‑cooled motors, TETC motors use external cooling tubes/fins and forced air circulation to improve heat dissipation, allowing the motor to operate at higher duty cycles, heavier loads, and elevated ambient conditions without overheating. This cooling approach increases reliability, extends service life, and maintains performance in environments with poor ventilation, elevated temperatures, or heavy mechanical loads.

These motors are commonly used in industries such as mining, steel, petrochemical, cement, marine, and heavy manufacturing, where robust cooling and continuous operation under tough conditions are critical.
