A high‑voltage wound‑rotor (slip‑ring) motor equipped with the IC 611 cooling method, designed for heavy industrial applications that require robust starting torque, controllable acceleration, and reliable performance under continuous duty. These motors are three‑phase asynchronous induction motors with rotor windings connected through slip rings, allowing external resistances to be used for controlled starting and improved torque characteristics. They are widely used as prime movers for large machinery such as compressors, pumps, crushers, conveyors, mills, and other heavy‑load equipment in industries like mining, power generation, steel, cement, and manufacturing.
